All donations made through Jamia tul Mastwaar are voluntary contributions.

Donations may be made for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • General charitable activities
  • Education and educational support
  • Food and essential supplies
  • Support for deserving and underprivileged people
  • Religious and community welfare activities

  • Zakat and eligible Zakat-related programs
  • Other charitable projects identified by Jamia tul Mastwaar

Where a donor specifies a particular appeal or project, Jamia tul Mastwaar will make reasonable efforts to use the contribution for that stated purpose.

3. Use and Allocation of Donations

Jamia tul Mastwaar is committed to using donations responsibly and in accordance with its charitable objectives.

Where funds collected for a particular project exceed the amount required, or where a project becomes impractical or cannot proceed, Jamia tul Mastwaar may, where appropriate and lawful, allocate the funds to a similar charitable purpose or another activity consistent with the organization's objectives.

Donations may also be used for reasonable administrative, operational, payment-processing, and program-related expenses necessary to deliver charitable activities.

4. Zakat Donations

Donors who contribute Zakat are responsible for determining their own Zakat obligation and the amount they wish to contribute.

Jamia tul Mastwaar will use Zakat donations for purposes and beneficiaries that are considered eligible under applicable Islamic principles and the organization's Zakat policies.

A donor should clearly select or identify Zakat when making a Zakat contribution. Zakat funds will be maintained and administered separately from general donations where required by applicable policies or accounting practices.

5. Recurring Donations

Where recurring donations are available, donors may authorize Jamia tul Mastwaar or its authorized payment provider to process donations at the selected frequency and amount.

The donor may request cancellation of future recurring donations by contacting Jamia tul Mastwaar through its official contact details.

Any donation that has already been successfully processed before cancellation may be subject to the Donation Refund Policy.

6. Payment Processing

Online donations may be processed through third-party banks, payment gateways, card processors, mobile wallets, or other authorized payment service providers.

Jamia tul Mastwaar does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any third-party payment service.

Payment processing may be subject to the terms, conditions, fees, security procedures, and privacy policies of the relevant payment provider.

7. Payment Security

Jamia tul Mastwaar takes reasonable measures to protect donor information.

Payment details such as credit/debit card information may be processed directly by authorized payment service providers. Donors should review the relevant payment provider's security and privacy policies.

Jamia tul Mastwaar will not knowingly request or require donors to disclose their PIN, password, OTP, CVV, or other confidential banking credentials through email, telephone, WhatsApp, or social media.

8. Donation Confirmation and Receipts

Following a successful online donation, donors may receive an electronic confirmation or donation receipt containing relevant transaction information.

Donors should retain their confirmation, receipt, transaction ID, or bank/payment reference for their records.

If a donor does not receive a confirmation after a successful payment, they should contact Jamia tul Mastwaar with the relevant transaction details.

9. Refund and Cancellation of Donations

Charitable donations are generally voluntary and non-refundable once successfully processed.

However, Jamia tul Mastwaar may review refund requests in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Duplicate donations made unintentionally
  • A verified technical or payment-processing error
  • An amount being charged incorrectly
  • An unauthorized or fraudulent transaction
  • A payment being deducted from the donor but not successfully received by Jamia tul Mastwaar

Refund requests should be submitted as soon as possible and may require verification of the transaction.

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be made through the original payment method, where reasonably possible. Bank, payment-gateway, currency-conversion, or other third-party charges may not be recoverable.

These provisions do not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

10. Donor Responsibilities

By making a donation, the donor confirms that:

  • The information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
  • They are authorized to use the selected payment method.
  • The funds being donated are not derived from illegal or fraudulent activities.
  • They will not use the donation system for fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized purposes.

11. Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance

Jamia tul Mastwaar reserves the right to conduct reasonable verification or due diligence where required by applicable law, banking requirements, donor verification procedures, or its internal compliance policies.

Jamia tul Mastwaar may decline, hold, investigate, or return a donation where there are reasonable concerns regarding fraud, unlawful activity, sanctions, money laundering, terrorist financing, or the source of funds.
